JP's 10th Birthday Bash

So this is another late post of yours truly. I've been contemplating whether to post this or not. Since I want to help other moms who are planning for their kids party, here it is, I hope this will help you one way or another.

As early as January me and hubby started to plan for JP's party. Unlike other kids, we had a simple house party on his 7th Birthday. Many says that 7th Birthdays are important but for our case, since it is his "First Decade" and "First 2-Digit Age" we decided to give him a party that he deserves. Not to mention, 10-year-old kids already know what they want for their party. We have already decided on the venue long ago, there's no question, my son loves Shakey's Pizza so Shakey's it is!

JP also wanted to have a Photobooth on his Birthday and so we looked for good suppliers that could provide. I joined the Party Plans and Ideas (PPI) group on FB wherein suppliers and lookers are sharing ideas in planning their momentous events. The page was created by moms , like me, who are keen to DIY parties. Most of my suppliers were from PPI, from Photographer, Balloons, Facepainter and Magician. When choosing a supplier, we'd go to people who are just starting with their crafts but with good feedback. These people are creative, friendly and not to mention with reasonable professional fee.

We've got Ate Rose for our Balloon decors; Prinz for facepainting, party hosting and Magic tricks; Tina Magallon Photography and photobooth; Gen cakes for the cake and cupcakes and Debie for our DIY sweets corner. Thanks also to Divisoria for the additional toys and loots.

Here are the kids enjoying the games, magic tricks, some loots from Shakey's and a dance performance from Mr. Pizzaman.

Even the adults are enjoying the games.

We also looked for cake and cupcakes suppliers in PPI but good thing that hubby has a High School friend who is just starting a cake and pastries business. Also, thanks to Pinterest for giving me a beautiful idea. I just showed Gen what we wanted for the cake she delivered it na mas bongga pa!

Here is JP showing his biggest smile with his Popsy, Mamita, Granny and Lolo. Lovely family photo. Thanks Tina for these lovely shots.

Our favorite pics of the party. Me and hubby saying our birthday wishes for our dear JP. Couldn't help but to feel emotional. Yung feeling na di ko first sentence pa lang naiyak na kami. JP suddenly ran around and got a tissue for his dad. Obviously we were the happiest parents that day and everyone in the room were also in tears (of joy).

Here is our family photobooth shots. This is what our son wished for his Birthday and so we've come up with a party idea that he would enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who came to our son's simple DIY Birthday Bash. Our son had a great time enjoying his special day with you all. Also thanks to our suppliers you are the best and the kindest. To Shakey's Bonifacio Stop Over, thank you for serving our 90+ guests (and more), we've only booked for 70pax but it ballooned and you were so ready to accommodate our requests and add ons. The guests were full and all satisfied. And to our dear son, JP, me and your daddy love you so much. We are glad that you had fun. It was perfect. We love you.
