Home Owner Diary: Manila Water Service Application

Paano mag apply ng bagong linya ng tubig?

- As an excited Homeowner, I exhaust all google sources on how to get this task done even if our house was not yet built. Ganyan ako, excited at mapusok sometimes haha. While googling, naisip ko na when the time comes na meron na kaming linya ng tubig iBA-BLOG ko toh! haha Mahirap mag search e, mahirap maging excited at mag hanap ng inspiration. Kaya eto, I'm blogging for a cause. Sana may mapulot naman na kaalaman sa blog ko kahit papaano. :)

There are 2 utility lines that we all can't live without 1. Water line and 2. Power line. These 2 are the most essential utility subscriptions yet the hardest to obtain. Unlike other services like cable, phone and internet lines where you can apply online, water and power line are the most difficult to approve and take longer time to install (but not if you have complete requirements).

From the Manila Water website the following are the requirements needed for a water service application.

• Proof of ownership- We submitted copies of our land title and tax declaration.
• Proof of billing (if available)
• Barangay clearance- Should be for New Water Service Connection purpose.
• Excavation permit (as advised by the implementing business area)- This may only be acquired from the City Hall.
• Other requirements as advised by the implementing business area- We were required to secure a restoration payment of Php 1500 which is refundable after the installation.

We applied through their Hotline 1627 and from there they created an account request. After about 48 hours, someone visited the site and gave us a slip as a proof that someone from their office checked the location. We then secured the requirements and headed to Manila Water the Fort office. We were advised to follow up with their site Manager for updates after 48hrs.

The process turned so fast that after we received a confirmation text from their concerned manager, we were then advised to pay for the installation fee. We then paid Php 9,213.00 to the nearest Bayad Center and informed Manila Water FB Support. They asked for the payment details and advised us to wait for another 48hrs for the installation.

So there, installed finally. Ang sarap mag Shower sa dream bathroom at maghugas ng plato sa dream kitchen sa dream house namin. :) Iba pala talaga pag sarili. I thank God for this blessing, for proving His faithfulness and that His plans are greater. Sya na talaga ang the BEST.

Next Up.. Meralco line.

Xoxo
