Road trip: Isdaan Floating Restaurant
Forgive me for this super late post. This road trip happened sometime October last year haha. I checked my old FB posts and I realized that I haven't posted a blog about this famous restaurant in the north.
What I like about this restaurant is their big statues and floating cottages. We were greeted warmly by their staff and assisted to our cottage. But before we made our orders we had our "phot op" first. Of course sayang naman ang magandang view.
After our feeling-model-poses, we felt hungry and settled on our relaxing cottage. So, it's order time!
We also had 1 kilo of grilled Hito for free as our friend successfully crossed the "San Kilo Bridge". It was a fun challenge and everyone can try it as long as they are brave enough to cross that narrow path and the strong water splash.
Out of the blue, my friends just decided to go North. Wala lang, we just wanted to try Isdaan Floating Restaurant. By the way, Isdaan also has a branch in Laguna (nearer from Makati diba?, wala eh mas gusto namin talaga mahabang byahe. Well, thanks to my kambal Cheng for the free toll and gas.. Haha
We left Manila around 8am and had our breakfast at KFC along NLex and arrived at Isdaan just in time before lunch. This restaurant is on the left if you're coming from Manila.

What we had? Well, San Mig Light, Inihaw na Liempo, Kare-Kare, Sinampalukang Manok, Chopsuey and Inihaw na Tilapia.

We also tried their free boat ride and roam around the fun park some more.
Look at that face., Cheng was really scared. It is indeed fun if you have "bully" friends. |
These birds are still angry.. Come on guys!? |
And of course we would not leave the place without trying the Taksyapo. Any stressed, low spirited, angry (birds) persons can release their negativity on the Taksyapo wall. But first you need to pay for the things that you want to smash. They have plates and broken appliance to choose from. Make sure that you can pay what you smash. Don't be carried away by your negativity. This is just for fun.

It was indeed a fun experience at Isdaan Floating Retaurant. The place is beautiful in every corners. The food is good for its price (specially kung nilibre kayo ng kaibigan nyo). Thanks to my friends Jen, Sandra and Cheng for making this road trip fun and filling. Til next destination.
